Senior Project

Think I might want to go ahead and just use this story. I really want to make this short since we've already invested so much time and I know if I work on another story, I won't be working much on s2tm and don't know if I ever would be able to. I just wanted to know if you would be ok with it?

Since 1st semester of senior project is just preproduction, I think this aligns perfectly for where we're at. We've already kinda got everything, we just need to think about our locations more, characters, pre-production stuff.

Plus, I think Lyndon already knows we're working together? So, it should be ok?

The hardest part, I think is already down, which is the story (kinda).

So? Are you on board? :)

Also, my sister asked if we had finished the short :x

We have an eager audience!

One last thing, have you ever seen the toy story sketchbook? it has a lot of production stuff that I think is very relevant to our story and it's really cool to see how they applied all that work into the movie. Get it here:

Oh, and...can we keep this between the two of us? Extra  help would be cool, but I think we've got it :D

A little bit of a Halt

I'm seriously thinking that maybe i did overlook the use of pre-production work...so now im going to go ahead and work on that and put the boards on halt. Things im planning on doing is

1-started doing a mock up model of skys house from top to bottom ( i made it from cardboard probably gonna put this in Maya but u know my comfort level with that is not that great)
2 - Paint some of the key scene settings specifically for use for staging like where the ramp is built
so this way we don't have to wonder what and where it looks like.
3 - might sculpt out sky and gen out of putty I've made my dnd models before so i can give it a go unless you want to because i remember u wanting to do that before.

Anything else you think we might need bring it up and post it under here.

So yea if you feel like u cant put anymore time in this than that's cool too.

Compositions

Really cool stuff on Abstract Compositions from painter Edgar Payne. And some stuff from a few different story artist on staging and compositions I feel like we need a bit of help on that too staging seems to be very difficult to board. Lets see if we can find more stuff like this on staging and compositions for story telling images.
