I was thinking about the farmer and I thought it would be cool to add him as a mirror for sky. Right now he's just a bit random. Yeah, he does fit as this guy who for some reason has all the shit they need, but I think it would be cool to mirror the entire story a bit in the montage.

So the farmer could be Sky, but the Sky who totally indulges in himself. Yeah sure, he might have all the materials he needs to get to the moon, but he has no one to do it with. He drove off everyone he knew in his intense pursuit for material things which may have had a noble reason to begin with but eventually just became about the stuff, it became about the barn, the hay, fire extinguishers, hammers, pitchforks, etc. Which is where Sky is headed right now, so some foreshadowing right there.

In the montage, I think it would be cool to push the point that we need to invest in ourselves, in others, and if we invest together we can overcome great challenges. So you already have in the script that they're hacking at trees using this guy's hammer and he, in the end gets knocked out by his own "investment", so I thought it would be cool if somehow sky and gen together knock him out.

It could be as simple as sky's hammer or hatchet, w/e goes flying off and hits him on the head, but he's still walking! Once isn't enough, but then gen's goes flying off and bam, KO'd.

I dunno, just thought about it while doing these boards. Cause, yeah the farmer is good comic relief, but  making him a mirror of sky and the story as a whole, I think would serve the story waaay more and it can still be funny, but it will just have that layer that will hopefully be felt.
